It has their name imprinted on the back of the spoon along with their makers marks. It also has 6 oz and Pat. 1889 imprinted too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe spoon is silver plated and has the Towle’s Benjamin Franklin design to the top of the handle which they produced in the early 1900s. It features a pretty fan pattern.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s larger than a teaspoon but smaller than a dessert spoon. It would be perfect for using to serve jams or using to eat puddings as a small dessert spoon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has light scratches to it and a bit of tarnish in the pattern on the spoon, particularly to the right hand side of the design.
