It widens to the top where the candle fits. It has a red felt base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by JE Ltd and it was Hallmarked in London in 1926. The Hallmarks are on the side of the holder.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCondition\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silver is shiny with some tarnish and a number of dents to the stem which can be seen in the photos. The rim at the top has quite a few dents and the silver has split in one place. This wouldn’t affect its use but has been taken into account in the pricing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSize\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s filled and weighs 171g.
