It’s a great collector’s item and could be used for slicing pieces of apple or pear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s a folding fruit knife and has a Sterling Silver blade. The handle is beautiful mother of pearl featuring engraved flowers and leaves. It’s slight curved in design making it easier to hold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by William Needham and it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1934. The hallmarks and maker’s mark are on one side of the blade. The blade snaps neatly back into the handle and is sprung.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCondition\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s in very good condition with the silver shiny.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSize\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s a smaller size knife measuring 9.4cm in length when fully open (just over 3 3\/4 inches).
