It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe box has a Sterling Silver exterior and a beautiful engineered lined design to the lid with a blank rectangular cartouche in the centre. The hinge works well and the lid lifts to show a very pretty Cedar wood interior.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by IS Greenberg \u0026amp; Co and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1929. The hallmarks and makers mark are on the side of the box.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe solid silver is shiny with a few small dents and scratches. There’s a small lined dint in the lid and it closes well but doesn’t sit completely flush with the base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt weighs 236g and measures 11cm by 8.8cm (just over 4 1\/4 inches by nearly 3 1\/2 inches).
