It would be ideal for using to serve or eat food with. It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIt was made by John Shiels and it was hallmarked in Dublin between 1765 and 1790. The hallmarks and makers mark are on the back on the handle but unfortunately the date letter is too worn to read\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe spoon has a beautiful tapered handle and a lovely deep bowl. At the top of the handle it has a very pretty engraved design featuring a hand holding sprigs of holly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe silver is shiny with light scratches and a few very small indentations in the bowl.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIt’s in good condition, particularly for a spoon which is over 230 years old.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIt weighs 26g and measures 17.2cm in length (nearly 6 3\/4 inches).\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Beeches Vintage","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47181277102423,"sku":"","price":70.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0780\/9135\/4455\/files\/IMG_8099.jpg?v=1737979590","url":"https:\/\/www.beechesvintage.com\/products\/antique-1792-georgian-sterling-silver-dessert-spoon","provider":"Beeches Vintage","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
