It was made by Francis Clark, a silversmith based in Newhall St, Birmingham, who was active from 1827 to 1847.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe spoon is made of Sterling Silver and has a shovel design bowl with a pretty fan pattern handle. The maker’s mark and hallmarks are in the bowl. The bowl is designed as more of a scoop and would work very well to spoon coffee or tea.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silver is shiny.
