The Hallmarks are on the base and the lid of the box. Underneath the Hallmarks a very small 17719 has been scratched.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe box has shiny Sterling Silver all around the sides and on the lid. The hinge works well to show a fully lined Cedar Wood interior. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s a rare find to have a Silver box from the Victorian era, particularly in such good condition. There are stains to the wooden interior and a couple of very small, nearly imperceptible dents in the lid. It’s a lovely box  and would be a great gift.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe total weight is 353g. It's a medium sized box measuring 13.9cm by 8.5cm (5 1\/2 inches by 3 3\/8 inches).
