It’s a medium sized jar and would be ideal for storing creams or cotton wool in. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt comes in a gift bag and would be a fantastic present.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by William Comyns and Sons and it was hallmarked in London in 1895. The lid is made of Sterling Silver and has a very pretty pattern on it. The sides and base are made of cut glass with a lovely design to it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s in very good condition. The silver has some patina which helps to show the design and a very slight curve to the rim just above the hallmarks. There are a few very tiny chips to the glass within the design but these can’t be seen unless examining it closely.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt weighs 257g with the silver lid weighing 29g. The height is 7.7cm (just over 3 inches).
