It has a rectangular cartouche with the initials MA engraved on it. It has a lovely lined design to the collar.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blade folds neatly into the handle and the back has a very pretty design to it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by William Briggs and hallmarked in Sheffield in 1844. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCondition\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s in very good condition with the silver shiny. The tip is slightly rough at the very end.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSize\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s a medium sized fruit knife, measuring 12cm when the blade is fully open (4 3\/4 inches), and 6.2cm when closed (2 5\/8 inches).
