It would be perfect for storing small items in. It comes in a lovely presentation bag and would be a great gift.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe exterior is beautifully shiny Sterling Silver. It has the initials AC elaborately engraved in the corner of the lid and an engineered design to the lid and base. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hinge and clasp work well. Inside is a gilded interior and the hallmarks are on both the inside of the lid and base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by John Henry Wynn and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham 1932.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silver is shiny. The lid is quite dented and there are two further dents on the back. There are a couple of small dents to the side. The lid is slightly lopsided. There’s a very small gap next to one end of the hinge but this doesn’t affect how it opens and closes. All of this has been taken into account when pricing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s quite solid, weighing 98g. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt measures 8cm by 8.5cm (3 1\/8 inches by 3 3\/8 inches). The depth is 1.2cm (1\/2 inch).
