The hinge works well and the lid lifts to show a fully lined Cedar Wood interior. The lid has the initials CSD and the date 28\/6\/23 in one corner which adds to it’s history.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was Hallmarked in London in 1922. The maker’s mark is worn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s in good condition. There are a few dents to the lid of the box, particularly around the edge of one side and a couple on the front. There are some scratches commensurate with age in places.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s a larger size box with a total weight of 555g. It measures 20cm by 8.8cm (7 7\/8 inches by 3 3\/8 inches).
