It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for a tea lover.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe strainer is made of solid Sterling Silver and has a lovely rim and handle to rest on a cup. The handle has a very pretty scroll design and the bowl is quite big for a strainer and would hold quite a lot of tea leaves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by Cooper Brothers \u0026amp; Sons it was hallmarked for Sheffield in 1925. The makers mark and hallmarks are on the rim. It also has S1891 imprinted on the underside of the rim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silver is shiny with a few spots of tarnish particularly to the underside of the strainer. The handle has a tiny tear where it joins the rims on the top but this doesn’t go through to the base and is very secure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's solid for its size weighing 44g. It measures 11.2cm in length  (4 3\/8 inches).
