The handle is made of Mother of Pearl and has a blank oval cartouche on one side.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe blade is shiny with a couple of spots of tarnish. There is a kink to the blade and the tip is bent however it should still work well. This is reflected in the pricing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Mother of Pearl handle is smooth with no cracks or chips but it does have two holes drilled in it.
