They would be ideal for using to serve salt, pepper, mustard or other condiments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silver spoons were made by Joseph Gloster and it was hallmarked in Birmingham. The date letters are worn but it’s very likely to have been made in 1901. The maker's mark and hallmarks are on the back of the bowl.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach spoon has a very pretty, ornate design to the handles and lovely round bowls. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silver is shiny with a little patina. One handle is a little more curved than the other. One spoon has a number of tarnish spots to both the inside and outside of the bowl which are visible if you look very closely.
