It’s a lovely collector’s item and can be used for slicing pieces of fruit such as apples or pears.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIt comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for a wedding anniversary or birthday.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIt was made by Harrison Fisher and Co and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1925.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe fruit knife has a Sterling Silver blade with the maker’s mark and Hallmarks on one side. The handle has a lovely shape to it and is beautifully smooth Mother of Pearl with a blank shield cartouche on one side. The blade folds neatly back into the handle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe Silver is shiny with some tarnish. There are a number of scratches to the blade and there’s a very slight curve to it but this wouldn’t affect it’s use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIt measures 11.3cm when the blade is fully open (4 1\/2 inches).
