This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Case from the early 1920s. It would be ideal for storing small items or business cards in.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present, particularly for someone interested in World War I.
The case is made of Sterling Silver and has a pretty engineered pattern to the exterior. On the front it has a diamond shaped cartouche with the initials WRB elaborately engraved in it.
It was made by Nathan Brothers and Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1921. The Hallmarks are on both insides of the case.
The hinge and clasp work well. The lid opens to show a Gilded interior. Inside it's engraved with
Dear Will Remembrance 1918. From Aunt Mary

This item was beautiful, authentic and delivered extremely promptly. Catherine was a delight to deal with, and I was very honoured to be able to purchase a piece of her family history.
