This is a simply stunning Art Deco Sterling Silver Jewellery or Trinket Box from the 1950s, perfect for storing small items such as rings, earrings or pendant necklaces in. It would look beautiful on a dressing table. 

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

The box is made of Sterling Silver and it has three elegant feet. The lid has a beautiful Art Deco design to the lid and shiny silver sides. The lid lifts to show a lovely black velvet lined interior.

It was made by WI Broadway and Co and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1950. The hallmarks and maker’s mark are on the rim of the base

It’s in very good condition and has been looked after well. There’s a little patina in places including in the Art Deco engineered design on the lid and a couple of very tiny dents to the side and one to the lid.

It has a total weight is 154g and has a 8.2cm diameter (3 1/4 inches). The height is 4.5cm (1 3/4 inches).
